Phil had 17 points, 8 Rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 3 steals in our 2 games this week vs Mason and Hamilton. Continuing his strong effort, Phil led the Cardinals with 29 points against district rival Northwest on Friday.
This past month, Marley has had significant time drops in all of the events she's participated in. She dropped 4 seconds on her 200 Free and 7 seconds on her 200 IM!
Sadie has been very encouraging to the whole team this season. She has been so welcoming to the new Freshman and is always cheering on her teammates and helping to ease nerves before meets.
Nehemiah's skill as a chess player has grown significantly throughout the season. He has shown gains in both defensive and offensive capability.
Kermit picked up a win vs a solid opponent during our dual with Northwest Friday. He won 6-5 with a late takedown at the end of the match.

Javar scored a career-high 21 points Tuesday at Edgewood. In 2 games this week Javar scored 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
Nishan's leadership on the Varsity Chess Team helped our team improve significantly throughout what was otherwise a challenging season. He encouraged our players to compete at their highest level each match. Nishan was nominated for 2nd Team All-Conference.
Will had 13 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the men's basketball team's 48-34 win over Mt. Healthy on Friday, while only playing 16 minutes because of foul trouble.
Alyssa’s unmatched work ethic and support of her teammates earned the JV freshman a Varsity starting spot against Mason on Saturday.
In our tournament match against Western Brown, Lauren had a phenomenal game. She had a team-high in aces, assists, and digs with 8-17-26 respectively. In addition to those great stats she added 1 block and 7 kills.
Despite the loss, Liam again turned in a great performance in the Cardinals tournament game against Lakota East. He has been extremely consistent all year in goal and has become a true leader throughout the season.
Kendell has really grown into a team leader and has put together a great overall season. She led the JV team to a big win over Hamilton this week and has been a fierce and consistent leader all year long.
In the final two weeks of the season, Woodson really stepped up her game. She tallied 10 digs, 8 kills, 4 blocks, 4 aces, and 2 assists in a 5-match span. Although we didn't win every match she was a big reason we were in every game.
Johnny continues to put together great performances week in and week out. His leadership skills continue to develop each game, along with his overall game skills.
Justin has been working hard on being a productive student-athlete over the last few weeks. Last week, he was asked to play defensive back, a new position for Justin, against Hamilton where he made several impressive stops.
Max ran a huge PR at the Ross Invitational this past weekend dropping a minute off of his previous PR time! He works hard every day and motivates his teammates to be their best!
Alex was co-medalist in the boys' win over Taylor with a 38 at The Mill Course on Tuesday. He was low on the team at our match against Tallawanda on Wednesday. On Sunday at the Hadley, he was also low man on the team with a 79 at Glenview.
Jovan ran an incredible race on Saturday at the Little Miami Invitational. He dropped almost a minute off of his race time from week one and is quickly learning how to be successful in cross country.
Jackson was a medalist on Monday against Hamilton with a 38 on the front nine at Miami Whitewater. He then shot a career competitive low of 79 in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament at Miami Whitewater, securing the 4th team spot to Districts for the Cardinals.
Sy has been a critical part of soccer's offensive attack. For the year, he has four goals and one assist. He continues to improve his play with every practice and game.
Haley went 3-0 last week and is 5-1 overall. This is the best start for a Girl’s Tennis first singles player in the last 20 years.
Miguel really elevated his play this past week. His level of play honored not only the sport but also Colerain with this play.

Ella led the girls' team to a 9th-place finish at the Greenville Treaty City Invite last weekend finishing 31st. She leads by example & works hard every day.
Congratulations to two-time GMC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year, Victor Ritcher. Victor was also awarded this accolade in 2022.
Riley has become a great leader on the team. She is someone that her teammates and peers can rely on and she continues to work hard every day.
In our first two matches, Lauren is leading the team in digs with 17. In addition to that she is 2nd on the team in aces with 5, blocks with 2, kills with 8, and assists with 10.
Will ran a new personal record of 18:20 at cross country's first race of the season finishing first for the team and 36th overall. He is a leader on and off the course and always gives his best.
In our 3 matches this week against Lakota West, Talawanda & Oak Hills, Skylor ran the backcourt as she had 19 total digs. She also had 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 ace.
Emma has worked so hard this season to earn a spot on the varsity squad. She continues to run strong in big races dropping time and improving from week to week.
Claudette is another leader on the team, she is always willing to help the younger girls. On the sidelines, she is always smiling and calling cheers.
Elizabeth turned away 41 shots in last week's women's soccer matches for Colerain. On Saturday she blanked the Knights of Northwest High School leading to a 6-0 Cardinal victory.
Wednesday, Reed bounced back at the GMC championship on day 2, shooting 82 to help the boy's team finish 5th overall. On Thursday, he was a medalist shooting his season-low 37 on the front nine at Miami Whitewater in the team's win over Princeton.
On Thursday against GMC rival Fairfield and Saturday against LaSalle, Moussa played his best defense of the season. He has really grown as a defender and is starting to make his presence felt on a daily basis.
Brynn has grown as a leader over the summer, really stepping up to help the younger girls learn cheers and band dances. She has also shined as a flyer as we begin to stunt.
Last week, goalkeeper Liam Bell continued to shine averaging 12 saves per game. He continues to give maximum effort in every game and has continued to grow as a leader on the field.
Luke has battled through so much adversity to have his best XC season yet! At the Princeton Invitational, he finished 58th with a time of 19:58, a new PR two years in the making, and conquered the course that ended his season last year.
In our 2 matches last week Allie had 3 aces, 1 kill, and 1 dig. Her energy on the court against Fairfield was unmatched. After every play and even when she would come off the court she was always cheering on her teammates.

In last week's game against GMC foe Middletown, Ty scored a goal and had a goal-line clear that helped preserve the lead for the Cardinals late in regulation.
In our 2 matches this week against Sycamore & Ross, Neenah had a team-high .381 hitting percentage totaling 10 kills on 21 attempts. In addition to that stat line, she had 6 digs and 2 aces.
Last week against Lakota West, Derius earned a starting spot on offense. DJ made the most of his start by scoring the game's only touchdown helping lead the freshmen to a 6-2 win over the Firebirds. He has been a leader on and off the field.
In our 3 matches this week against Ross, Princeton, and Edgewood, Olivia had a huge impact behind the serving line as she totaled 14 aces, which is leading the team. She added 52 assists, which also is a team-high, 28 digs and 2 blocks.
Jonathan has displayed endless hard work and leadership this season. This past week, he scored one goal and assisted on the other goal in the 2-2 tie against GMC foe Princeton.
